Has anyone ever called 111 and NOT been told to go to A and E?

I know they need to stay on the safe side but i feel like it’s their response to everything, which sort of defeats the purpose a little bit.

Have called many many times, sadly- DS isn’t the hardiest of souls.

Three times had ambulances dispatched, many OOH GP appointments including within the hour for mastitis (me) and cellulitis following a vaccination (DS) , 2 calls from paediatricians and direct referrals to children’s a&e, and I think twice been told okay to manage at home, including when DS managed to eat a cosmetic item which I was afraid would poison him.

It’s been a fun two years since DS was born....
