is practically bringing up his sister alone? where are the parents?

and if you ask me, pink milk sounds full of sugar and e numbers and not suitable for a bedtime drink!

think the parents are putting too much pressure on charlie ~ sometimes they ask me to help put her to bed. this is a difficult job..

dora in the jungle with her best friends the talking animals is a cause for concern, but I'm more worried about the baby twins who can escape without being able to walk. Dora's survived this long I think she'll be fine.

maggie ~ I'm more worried about her hair than her mental health tbh

little einsteins ~ who lets them fly their own spaceship around the world on thier own???

at least peppa pig has family around her, and the backyardigans are only allowed in the garden along!!!!!

They eat fair trade food - we have a book all about it. Think it was produced for Comic Relief day.

It's a convention of children's literature that you have to get rid of the parents, otherwise there would be no adventures. Charlie and Lola's parents are always there, just not doing much except telling Charlie to get Lola into bed or to eat her tea etc. etc.

I cant belive how dense you all are

Pink Milk comes from PINK COWS.

I thought everyone knew that >

I often think about this, and commented on it on another thread!! Never mind pink milk, I hate reading charlie and lola because it makes me crave jammy dodgers and party rings, they are always pictured!!!

Can't stand Peppa Pig, the TV programme was unbearable for someone who has put up with dh's extreme snoring for years (if it ever became an Olympic sport, he'd get gold, no contest).

My dd (11) has convinced ds that Charlie is a girl. So there are gender identity issues to report to Social Services too!

mummypigoink · 29/06/2007 21:25

one of the first things dd2 learned to say was the snorting noise from peppa pig. A proud moment

americantrish · 01/07/2007 11:48

Charlie and Marv need to kick that 60-a-day habit.
