To have cosmetic surgery

I'm a mum of 5. My breasts have literally had it (spaniels ears)

I am booked in to have surgery to have them sorted out with an uplift (no implants) but as it gets closer I am worried I am being stupid to have it done as it's quite a big op, and recovery time etc.

AIBU or would you have cosmetic surgery? Has anyone on here had it before?

My breasts genuinely ruin my self esteem and confidence. I would feel amazing with them back to normal

I'm 5 days post-surgery OP and had the same panic this time last week.

I'd reached a point where I really loathed my boobs.

Honestly the pain hasn't been that bad. However I decided to have a mini tummy tuck / scar revision for my C-Sec scar at the time. That I am regretting; bloody kills!

I had the most wonderful (female) surgeon and the aftercare I have received so far, has been brilliant.

I had rhinoplasty. Around 6k in total. BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE! I was so self conscious that I would walk with my head down, wouldn't have photos taken unless they were head on. It was ruining my life. But as soon as I woke up from the surgery I felt like my whole life changed. Dramatic I know, but it really has changed my life.

So to anyone who is considering it I say... if you really want to do it and are in a position to do so, then DO IT. Good luck x

I had this done when my dd was young.

Never regretted it and made me feel so much better about myself. Mine also included a breast reduction.

Recovery wasn't that bad. Just don't try and do too much and make sure there's always somewhere to sit down and rest.

I went for a walk about 3 weeks post op after a couple of your I felt achy in the breast area after a couple of hours. After sitting down in the car it was fine.

I’m having a lift as soon as I’m done feeding I’m 23 and my boobs are so low and deflated ,I used too feel guilty but I just think my boobs are bad because I gave so much of myself so no longer do
