There's a horrible kid that lives down our road. Is always playing in the road and refusing to move from the middle of the road and stares at you giving you the finger whilst you sit there unable to carry on driving. I think he's about 8.

When I was walking down the road earlier at about 6.30pm he was with a few other kids and shouted 'nice titties' at me, multiple times.

I'm ashamed to say but I ignored and carried on walking when I know I should have pulled him up on it. WWYD? My worry is that his parents won't give a shit if I knocked on their door and told them what their precious child was shouting at lone women.

Sorry, last bit should say 'women walking alone'

Ignoring the little twat was probably the best thing because he wants a reaction. If they don’t get the reaction they will give up eventually and move on to someone else. You’re right that the parents probably couldn’t give a toss about what he’s up to. Do your local police have an anti social behaviour team? You could report it to them.

I can't imagine there's much that you could say to this kid that would make a blind bit of difference. Ignoring was probably your best bet. All sounds very sad really - poor kid. Do you know which school they go to?

Thanks for your replies and yes you're both right, ignoring is best. I suppose the stubborn side of me wants to stand up to him but you're right, it would be pointless!
