@MonkeyfaceThereturn We had a chip pie called The Codfather Grin
Favourite hair salon name has always been Curl Up & Dye

CheshireChat · 09/01/2019 21:41

JanuarySnowdrops bloody hell, nice little bit of misogyny there.

ivykaty44 · 09/01/2019 21:43

Twenty

MyOtherLifeIsAFairytale · 09/01/2019 21:44

Whoever suggested Talon Salon, I salute you. Claws for thought sounds like a pet parlour though. None of my 2 all time favourite nail bars had/have ingenious names - just standard Good Nails/KC Nails kinda names. I go for the no need to book, friendly service and fair prices + warm welcome and staff that seem happy to be there generally

SaucyJack · 09/01/2019 21:45

Jammy Nail

Once Bitten, Twice Shy

  • but I've never been to a nail salon so ...
Comenext · 09/01/2019 21:47

Escape Claws
Nail It
On the Nail

AtSea1979 · 09/01/2019 21:47

I’d just name it after myself as I’d love to have my name in lights and I think it brings a much more friendly personal touch. You won’t have people cancelling because they’ve forgotten your name!

cutthegraa · 09/01/2019 21:52

Nail Diamond

Do you know what, you’re absolutely right. This is something I’ve dreamed about for a very long time. This is me... this is what I do. Thanks

Hilda's Posh Fist
Giving U the Finger
Auntie Flo's Scratched Cornea Factory

RJnomore1 · 10/01/2019 11:02

Polished By MotherTruckett would be a good name (obviously using your actual name)

Moneys2Tight2Mention · 10/01/2019 11:20

The place I go to is just called "The Nail Bar". Simple, classy and does what it says on the tin!

RChick · 10/01/2019 11:26

Hand Job

divadee · 10/01/2019 11:29

I love a good business name pun...... I wouldn't want one on my business though! The Nail Salon.

I did see an AbraKebabRa kebab shop once. It still makes me laugh.

IndigoSpritz · 10/01/2019 11:33

Talon Treats.

BunsOfAnarchy · 10/01/2019 11:37

Ooh yes just name after your name. I reckon itll sound classier Grin

indecisivepigeon · 10/01/2019 11:40

Hand Job and Nail Diamond are my favourite 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

cowfacemonkey · 10/01/2019 11:40

I agree with putting your own name up there. Seems to me our most high end and popular hair salons locally are all simply their owners name (some full name others just last name)

A play on words can be funny but doesn't always come across as professional and a sign of a high quality service IMO. I did see a car bodywork repair van with the business name Dragon's Dents on it the other day. It's clever for a minute or two but I probably wouldn't use them!

cowfacemonkey · 10/01/2019 11:42

Oh and our local dog groomers is called Doggy Style which is funny but well I think you have to work a lot harder to build a serious reputation!

bengalcat · 10/01/2019 11:43

I like the Talon Salon - it’s quirky . Don’t use Hand Job lol you may get some odd customers

divadee · 10/01/2019 11:46

I did also see a flooring guy with the name "Lino Ritchie" the tag line was "is it me you're looking floor" that was a very very clever pun.

MilesUpWithMyWitch · 10/01/2019 11:50

I wish you would call it Hilda's Posh Fist, but I don't suppose you will.

That can go into the new MN diagram.
