Sistema, these ones for younger children as easy to open, and at least half a class load of primary children have them too as I see them on the side.

And now my children are both at secondary, they have these also Sistema.

Only leaked once when the lid wasn't screwed down properly. Used daily for school for years.

Chillys bottles are absolutely excellent. As are the Camelback eddys. Both absolutely well worth the money

This. I have both of these and hughly recommend them. The Camelbak Eddy is more practical (no need to take the top off) but the Chillys bottle also works for hot drinks. Swings and roundabouts.

starryeyed19 · 09/01/2019 20:30

Contigo. I've had mine for ages and it doesn't leak

brownmoose · 09/01/2019 20:39

I have a pack of 3 contigo for the kids. All leaked 🤬

Whymustyoubringinthebirds · 09/01/2019 20:42

I’ve got a sparrow bottle and no leaks (if I remember to push the nozzle down Grin) and DH has a SHO and that hasn’t leaked

ShowOfHands · 09/01/2019 20:44

I've tried every bottle going. They all leak eventually.

Loyaultemelie · 09/01/2019 20:44

Koran kanteen bomb proof!

Loyaultemelie · 09/01/2019 20:45

Klean kanteen bloody autocorrect

Clankboing · 09/01/2019 20:50

Sistema Trio from Amazon - come in a few sizes - bigger for teenagers, smaller for primary age.

UnderTheSleepingBaby · 09/01/2019 20:51

We all have one green bottle bottles and haven't had any leaks (unless left open) my 3yr old can open it himself and my 1yr old can drink from hers happily once open so definitely child friendly

Bennyismydog · 09/01/2019 20:51

Ok, my —awful— great tip is to buy one of these milkshake bottles.
Be warned it is glass but I got so sick of my dd’s bottle constantly leaking I decided to use one of these one day. My reasons were that:
A) I had one in the fridge and
B) I had only realised right before school her current bottle was leaking.
I expected to buy a new one the next day, but it never leaked the lid screws on tight and it’s lasted months so far. Dd is 4 and she has managed to not smash it (so far) too.

Why can't I find a leak proof water bottle???
Darcey37 · 09/01/2019 20:51

Thanks for the suggestions. I have already had Aladdin, various sistema ones, and others which I forget the name of.

I may try camelbak next or the kanteen.

Is it too much to ask???
Dd is 9 so can open most bottles now

This style from Sistema is the best I’ve found: ]]

ShalomJackie · 09/01/2019 20:56

Nike do one. I will find the link.

simplysleepy · 09/01/2019 21:08

Another vote for the dopper bottle. Can also get an add on sports cap if, like me, your dc find them easier to get on with.
Great quality and hold up really well, although they are a Dutch brand so I’m not familiar with how easy they are to get in the uk

Makemeaname · 09/01/2019 21:14

I have one from wilko, think its £3. Different colour lids, have an infuser in which I remove, never leaked. Easy to open too.

ginyogarepeat · 09/01/2019 21:15

Contigo. I've had one for years, so have DC. No issues whatsoever. Also have a contigo travel cup and it's the best I've had. And I've tried many.

ginyogarepeat · 09/01/2019 21:16

And for those asking how easy they are to use - my DC have been using their contigo (smaller versions of my adult one) ones since about 3 years of age.

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 09/01/2019 21:17

Contigo or Chilly’s we have a mixture and been using them for over a year with no leaks. Dh takes his chilly bittle to work and it sees a fair amount of abuse and has never leaked and despite a few dents the couloir has t chopped off either.

HayCaramba · 09/01/2019 21:20

Definitely Contigo. DS has used every day for 3 years, no leaks and pretty indestructible.

HariboLecter · 09/01/2019 21:27

I have an Aladdin Aveo that has never leaked.

HariboLecter · 09/01/2019 21:33

Oops didn't see the update about already having Aladdin.

Ariela · 09/01/2019 23:33

Cycling bottle, I have a BELL one from Halfords, still going strong, have even driven over it before now, and it popped back to shape and still doesn't leak.

Jellyjumpers · 10/01/2019 01:06

Camelback or klean cantine i have obnes i have owned for ten years and they dont leak and can have child friendly lids. Get a good bottle or straw and the ocational miltoning of plastic parts keeps all good.
