Posted on here for traffic! Does anyone know if this is just a rash for dribbling and a heat rash on his neck and back? He hasn’t actually been dribbling too much but I think that what it can only be from?

If you have any you could try sudocream until you can get to a gp

GaryBaldbiscuit · 05/01/2019 20:00

i would consider vaseline

Makatoned · 05/01/2019 20:08

Could also be teething rash if teething

GaryBaldbiscuit · 05/01/2019 20:09

my dd used to get a similar rash on her face, she had prescription cream for it

GaryBaldbiscuit · 05/01/2019 20:10

Considered to be dry skin by her GP

Imalittleelf · 05/01/2019 20:12

The rash on his back and front is it the same or could be described as measles? Is there any puss in the rash?

My first instinct was hand foot and mouth. My dd started as a feint rash like measles on the tummy then got really bad around the mouth a few days later (thought It was dribble rash) eventually spread a little to hands and feet but was much worse around the mouth.
She didn't have a temp, generally was ok with periods of seeming poorly.

Deff get it looked at though

gummybearwotsit · 05/01/2019 20:15

Could also be impetigo.

iano · 05/01/2019 20:17

Impetigo? My little one just had it. Started looking like this.

Crunchymum · 05/01/2019 20:19

The neck area looks a little "rashy" ?

Pocketfullofsunshine89 · 05/01/2019 20:20

This was the first time he tired strawberries, I’m starting to think that could be a factor as well, I just remembered that two family members have a berry and a kiwi allergy!

He stopped breastfeeding at 8 months

My daughter got excema around her mouth when I stopped bf her, she was intolerant of cows milk.

Pocketfullofsunshine89 · 05/01/2019 20:23

Has no spots with puss! He doesn’t seem to have hand, foot and mouth my other son had it years ago and he doesn’t seem to have any of the symptoms.

StephenKatz · 05/01/2019 20:25

Is it not impetigo as someone upthread suggested?

seven201 · 05/01/2019 20:37

I think it looks like a contact allergy. Could you run a bit of strawberry on his thigh or somewhere and see if he reacts?

Or has he had acidic food recently eg tomatoes?

PurplePotatoes · 05/01/2019 20:44

My DS had something similar for ages which we couldn't get rid of. Turned out to be perioral dermatitis and we got some cream from GP.

Poing · 05/01/2019 21:16

You could go to a pharmacy tomorrow. Pharmavists are also able to give you an idea what it is and can give him cream to tide you over.

Looks exactly how my daughter looked when she had HF&M. She needed antibiotics.
