So after all the Christmas junk, all I have on my mind is a damn crisp sandwich!

A soft, squidgy round roll
A squished up bag of walkers cheese and onion
Butter and ketchup

The New Years diet can wait one more week

I enjoyed one last Thursday at work x

Pickled onion space raiders and tons of salted butter in a crusty roll or super thick white bread. Or beef space raiders with brown sauce. It's got to be a maize type crisp for me.

Salt and vinegar with some butter on brown slice pan. But no squashing in the bag, laid neatly on one slice and then firmly squashed with the other. Nomnomnom

My perfect crisp sandwich is copied from a uni friend: ordinary white bread, full fat laughing cow cheese triangles (one on each slice of bread), bag of walkers ready salted crisps, gently crushed slightly once assembled to make it easier to handle

I've always fancied trying a salt and vinegar crisp toastie.

Really? A crisp toastie? Although I don't eat too many of them, I think soft, squidgy white bread is a must!

A crisp sandwich is good at any time, diet or not.
Cheese and onion on buttered white bread is the champion of snacks.

I thought it might be like a chip butty so I made one for lunch. It was more like 2 slices of cardboard with warm wood shavings inside 🗑

YABU because ketchup has no place in a crisp sandwich and because you've now made me want crusty white bread with salt and vinegar crisps.

A couple of days ago I scandalized dd by piling a ready-made sandwich with salt and vinegar kettle crisps. The sandwich had ham, salami, cheese, pickles, chow-chow and mayo on it already...add in a bunch of crunched up vinegary crisps and it was the food of the Gods.

Even better, cheese, chips and crisps. With salad cream!

I’m so suggestible. I was only about 10 posts in before I succumbed. I’m eating it now. Walkers plain on buttered white bread. So delicious.
