ANy social workers or police?

When I was pregnant I had a minor issue with DH and called the police. I was completely unreasonable. But because I called them and had a child they told social services. Someone came over and that was that. Nothing else. No other involvement.

Anyway, say if I had a friend who was a social work and a friend in the police, could they, if they wished to, search any of our names and look up the history?

Yeah all good ta. Thanks for the information. It’s really helpful. Actually I don’t think that this could possibly have happened, given what you’ve said and the consequences if found out. Still, I’m tempted to do a SAR and ask for who had accessed records.

I kind of envision that they have approached you and said 'oh was everything ok back in March? Heard you had a scuffle with dh?' And that you haven't told anyone about that so they have found out through work somehow. think if it was me I'd collect some more details about what they know first and present that to the org.

I would be more than furious if it was me!!

A colleague of mine has been suspended for looking at their own records without reason so it's a pretty big deal.

As others said any cop found searching records without a valid operational reason faces dismissal and possible jail time.

But it sounds like you have suspicions that someone may have specifically searched your records.
If so please contact the police with your suspicions, this will be taken seriously
