Silly question? My baby is 2 months old. First time mum so I'm learning the ropes. I have a docs appointment for some nerve pain in my shoulder. I don't have a pram but it's round the corner so was Going to carry baby in car seat and rake with me.

Ok thing To do? What if he starts screaming? Won't doctor be pissed off? Hmm...

@SaucyJack I didn't know it was going to cause me pain until Saturday. It's not been causing me pain for a long time. Only a few days.

I went to a physio with my shoulder pain, he could point to the places the sling did up across the back from the damage!

@SkylarkMA
That's probably what's done your shoulder in in the first place
I have to push mine in the pram from newborn and Carry them as little as possible (even in a carrier or seat) because otherwise I injure myself and spend hours in the chiropractors getting sorted out again

  • “Not having a pram is not nonsense!“

It is if it’s causing you to need medical treatment.

Just get a pram, and then you probably won’t need to see a GP anyway.*

I never had a pram until DC was 1

Actually carrying in a sling strengthen my core and back

What a stupid thing to say, many people have back problems and it is not so easy to fix as a pram

Ahhhhh

What kind of sling do you have? Might be worth investing in a different one.

And yes, take the baby. I've always taken mine everywhere, drs, dentists, opticians - under 6 months best time to get these things done!
