Posting for traffic because I've been awake all night and I'm a bit bored...

Those of you with dogs

Where do they sleep??

Ours was crate trained and slept for 2 years fine but recently started fussing so we didn't feel he needed it and let him sleep upstairs but he doesn't go in his bed but will get on ours! It's fine except he pinches the quilt and except last night where he's kept me up all night!

Just interested where everyone else's dogs sleep Grin

wherever he wants now. He usually starts on floor or sofa then moves to the end of our bed in the night

ScreamingValenta · 31/12/2018 09:04

On the sofa.

Both in my bed. One cuddles in like a hooman and one goes at my feet. The cat sleeps above my head on the pillow.

I wonder what’ll happen if I ever get a gentleman friend ...

Both dogs (older spaniel and idiot puppy) have crates in the dining room. Both doors are always open, they have free run of downstairs and we never close doors, the crates are just their quiet space and both sleep through the night unless someone comes to the door.

DH lets both on our bed when I'm away but we have a don't-ask-don't-tell policy because he knows my feelings about dogs on beds.

My daft GSP has the roam of the house. She sometimes sleeps in her open cage, sometimes on the couch and sometimes in a bed next to my bed. She is happy as long as she has a blanket or duvet to bury under.....
yes there is a dog in there somewhere !!

If a gentleman doesn’t appreciate your bed fellows then he’s no good for you 😉

Lovely photos! Our ddog sleeps in our bed, for most of the night. I like the warmth but not the lack of space or the fact I have to curl my legs or body into a prawn position as he's 28kgs! He has his own bed in our bedroom but I liked him getting in with us but must say tonight 'get in your bed'. So I can have a good night's sleep!

small jack Russel thats treated like a baby

she sleeps under the covers, head on a pillow in whoevers bed

or when napping during the day on the settee on a pillow with a blanket up to her chin or she wont sleep

Weathermonger · 01/01/2019 03:41

On a sofa during the day - he won't get on it if his blanket is missing. At night he has an orthopaedic bed in our bedroom.
