To be annoyed at DM?

My DM is a Facebook pest. She's friended my friends (many of whom she hasn't seen in 20yrs), and shares almost everything she sees. I've had to unfollow her because her posts took up most of my newsfeed! I'm not the only one who did this, just the only one to admit it. She then calls to ask questions about photos etc she's seen on friends' pages - where were they, why were they there, did I know they were going away...
She pesters me to post photos of DCs - I'm not one to share too much, too often.
She's a grown woman, entitled to be on fb and I can't do anything about it, but it's driving me crazy!

Would drive me nuts.
My friends mum has done this. I'm one of the people she's befriended. But it's more because she's worried about my friend. We all are though.

I'd speak to your friends and ask if they'd consider putting her on a filter because of the hassle she gives you.

You need to be very direct and very clear. You will no longer have discussions about Facebook. End of. You don't like it, you're not interested, and you don't care what other people are doing.

I had to sit my mum down and have a frank discussion- she was re-sharing pictures of other people’s kids or grandkids- I mean colleagues form her work, colleagues from my work that she had searched out me commenting on.
Nothing sinister, she just loves kids and babies and thought people would be thrilled she was sharing them and saying how cute they were or how loved a newborn was.

It’s all completely new for them, they need supporting and checking on as much as our kids do until they know what they are doing and the dangers of the internet.

Elf she knows what she's doing. At first I thought she didn't, with the amount of irrelevant stuff she was sharing, but when I asked her about it she genuinely felt that someone might like to read it. She knew that most wouldn't, but it's a numbers game for her - if she sends enough stuff to enough people, someone will respond.

Aqua yes a blanket ban on discussing anything fb is a good idea.

Post friends have accepted her requests out of politeness, but most have unfollowed because of the amount of crap she shares. I'm sure they'd be ok to filter her - thanks for the suggestion.
