at 7:30pm?

Going to stay at a friends and my boobs are leaking like crazy... don't mind ruining my own mattress as we are buying a new one next week but don't want to ruin my friends'!

Totally slipped my mind...

Argos?

dementedpixie · 29/12/2018 19:38

Supermarket?

TheBabyAteMyBrain · 29/12/2018 19:39

If all else fails get some puppy pads or incontinence pads and pop under the sheet. Supermarkets should have them.

DisplayPurposesOnly · 29/12/2018 19:40

Puppy training pads could be a substitute if you can't get a waterproof sheet?

masktaster · 29/12/2018 19:40

If you can't, can you sleep on a towel (or several) ?

DisplayPurposesOnly · 29/12/2018 19:40

Snap!

Hollyandtheiveee · 29/12/2018 19:41

You can buy waterproof dispoasable sheets in supermarkets. In with the nappies

AbiBranning · 29/12/2018 19:42

Pampers bed mats would do

moreismore · 29/12/2018 19:42

Potentially stupid question but - Can’t you just sleep in a maternity bra with lansinoh nursing pads...?

Marmite27 · 29/12/2018 19:42

Huggies dry nights bed pads or similar. I sat on one in the car when my waters went with DC1.

MrsOrMiss · 29/12/2018 19:42

This is what I've done in the past, plastic shower curtain onyoon top of the mattress, then a towel then the bedsheet.

Good luck

Acopyofacopy · 29/12/2018 19:43

Dunelm

As a desperate last resort you could line your bra with pads? #sexy

dementedpixie · 29/12/2018 19:43

You can buy washable ones in the homeware department but then they would need washing afterwards. Do you have breast pads too?

hp2 · 29/12/2018 19:43

Dunelm.

Loohoo · 29/12/2018 19:49

I breastfeed on my side too so it goes on the mattress then too. It's a pain! I'll try Tesco for puppy pads that is a brilliant idea!

Ikea waterproof mattress protector. It's got a rubbery underside but is soft & comfortable. I use them on all of our beds to protect the mattresses, albeit under the sheet. They've saved my DS's mattress from accidents when he was toilet training & have have protected against a few vomits too. Machine washable & I tumble dry ours with no issues. Very reasonable too.
