To think a new washing machine might change my life?

I’ve got a 5kg drum machine that I was given when a relative passed, it’s got no instructions and doesn’t exist on google!
I’m constantly overfilling it and then it doesn’t spin and every wash takes hours.
Me and my baby have had a vomiting big over Xmas so I have piles of hideous sicky washing to do and I can’t face it!

I’ve snapoed and spent my Xmas money on a 10kg 1400 spin machine that’s coming on sat! Please tell me this will make a huge difference to my life!

i have a giant washer(10kg) and normal sized condensed 7kg dryer

problem is 1 washer load takes 2 dryer loads as i dont overload the dryer so im always left with 1 load of damp washing

My washer just completed a cycle and now my 6x4ft living room rug is clean. If it fits, it gets washed 😂. I love a bit of laundry porn, a proper utility/laundry room would be my ultimate .

What do you think would happen were I to "accidentally" put a Le Crueset pan on a hot wash? I do hope nothing catastrophic that would mean I need to buy a new 13kg machine.

@Fromage I can't link you sadly. Because I have 4 kids I always insure my white goods through domestic and general. They replaced my old 10kg machine with this one at two months before my 5 year "new for old" policy ended. That's how I ended up with another tumble drier, my oh insisted as it was basically free after 9 services that cost the total of the £140 policy in total 😍

What is a condense drier and do I need this?

In our last rented house there was a small, crappy washing machine built in. This meant that there was no room for my lovely Bosch one. I sat in the garage for 5 years.

Moved house and have gone back to my Bosch one. Quickest setting on the old one was just over 3 hours! It also had a small drum.

I can get loads washed in a day now instead of just two, maybe 3 loads at a push. Love it!
