Mine, I’m going to stop pandering to the ex, who was abusive when we were together and has since we split up 5 years ago, been controlling and patronising using our ds as leverage, acting the ‘poor me’, ‘great dad’, ‘generous kind ex’ in public, when in reality he is a lying, manipulative selfish twerp.

I’m going to be healthier overall. Not join a gym and be unrealistic just little changes. I’ve already in the last 2 months stopped smoking, given up my energy pop addiction too.

I'm going to have a baby...so ARGH all change...!

Before that happens my focus is going to be on being healthy, active and not existing solely on carbs (cheers morning sickness still going strong at 17 weeks!)

I’m having a baby too! Very excited after nearly two years of trying and one miscarriage.

I’m going to try and enjoy the second half of my pregnancy from January - 20 week scan is just around the corner.

I've lost 8 stone over the last 2 years so now I'm focusing on staying as healthy as possible. I want to explore my disfunctional relationship with food and learn mindful eating and mediation. I plan to focus on DH, he needs attention because I've been very focused on weight loss. I'm going to plan some time alone, dates and activities he likes.

I’m going to regian my fitness. I used to swim and run at least 3 times a week, I’ve done the London to Brighton bike ride and a half marathon, but completely stopped doing any exercise a couple of years ago due to an injury and some MH issues.

I’m determined to get back to a reasonable level of fitness next year, lose weight and generally feel better.

New job.

Olddognewtricks2019 · 27/12/2018 16:24

Improve my fitness and try to rid myself of imposter syndrome. I think the boost from the former will go some way to helping with the latter. Good luck all

I'm having number 2 in spring and moving 20 miles up the road at some point so all change there.

Planning to work on my overall health in 2019, so I'll start exercising again (yoga, light walking and swimming to start with, very simple and easy stuff and hopefully gentle wall climbing again by the end of the year depending on recovery from elcs), adjust my diet to be a bit healthier as it's slipped recently and work on mental health which isn't great at the moment.

Cut down the screen time (particularly in front of DD) and try to use my time a bit more wisely and creatively, so mainly not failing the first year of my ou degree and to do some more creative stuff in my downtime, which ties into the mental health too. All very small and gradual changes but I'm planning to come out of 2019 a much healthier all round person!

I’m having a large chunk of diseased intestine removed! That means I’ll be able to actually eat again and go back to work. I’m gonna eat a chicken salad sandwich on brown bread please, with pepper mayo.

AskingForAnEnemy · 27/12/2018 16:33

I'm going to go vegan

2019 - regaining my energy. Finding the old me: youthful spirit, look less aged and tired, better groomed. Get a job/masters offer. God willing my SEN child will overcome their obstacles. More time acrually playinf with the kids. Defeat my scrolling addiction, no scrolling through facebook, dailymail or aibu on mn!

I'm going to poach an egg and learn the best method of doing so. I had a poached egg in a cafe in November and really enjoyed it.
