To think the YouTube 300+ present parents per child are ghastly

No child needs 300 presents. A certain family gave their children about 20 lol dolls. All that plastic all that waste and the children didn't even seem to enjoy the presents, ripping though them in seconds and getting to the next.

Completely unnecessary and OTT.
No child should have so much crap. For lots of them the fame and money only last so long. I wonder the extremes those kids will need to feel complete in their future.

Rosepetalgeranium · 27/12/2018 21:51

I think they will need a lot of therapy when they are older, no teen wants all their private momemts made public

I don’t live in the UK so who are the Ingham family?

SockNRolla · 27/12/2018 22:21

I haven't seen them, but I am guessing that if they have a very big following then most gifts are gifted for advertising?
I thought these bloggers make videos and posts days or weeks in advance so they can post content most days.
If it really is filmed on Xmas day and all those gifts really are for the children then that has got to be damaging in some way. Sad

Amanduh · 27/12/2018 22:24

They’re going to need therapy for a LOT more than that, mostly because their father/stepdad is a disgusting dirty pervert preying on young girls and openly cheating on his wife. But let’s buy 300 LOL dolls instead.
That channel is sickening

rubaduhlo · 27/12/2018 22:45

Wow that us absolutely shocking. Couldn't watch the video but just clicked on it and watched the scene of them showing all the presents. It made me feel sick.

Jesssfam is an American vlogger with lots of kids (5 of her own including twins, and 2 step children) she's had a rocky start in adulthood but my god she loves those children. She does the sensible thing though. Something you want, need, wear and read. Then 1 present from Santa and stocking stuffers. I think it's a great idea. No over spoiling them and keeps it simple.

stopitandtidyupp · 27/12/2018 23:33

I had never heard of them but I have just watched the video. Wow.

In one of the comments on you tube it says the girls are feeding of the attention that gets the biggest reaction. Then each of them copy it to a new level to an ultimate crescendo.

I agree it's very disturbing.

Lucyccfc · 28/12/2018 00:00

Never heard of them.

Do people seriously watch this kind of crap?

Atetoomanymincepies · 28/12/2018 11:50

They don't seem to spend much time at school either, Florida, Australia, Greece, Dubai and Lapland so far this year, and all they do is shop whilst there so not exactly learning anything

Rosepetalgeranium · 28/12/2018 22:04

I'm shocked at the amount of time they've missed off school just in the first term. It's like they are working to miss school and create content Hmm

I don't watch them no but was made aware of them due to Sarah Ingham (whole other story!)

So I look at the odd thing when I see something that reminds me they exist. And I get there are loads of accounts out there doing the whole kid thing but this lot are in a league of their own. It's just astonishing how it can be allowed really

Believeitornot · 28/12/2018 22:43

Those videos are shit.

And I steer my dcs away from watching them - the more views they get, the more money they get and the more presents they can give their dcs.
