Why isn't Santa more egalitarian?

AIBU to wonder why Santa brings expensive toys for the children of rich families and cheaper toys for the children of poorer families? (On average)

Is it because the poorer children's parents wouldn't be able to afford the batteries?

or maybe get out of social media and stop being jealous at the way other families celebrate Christmas and don't teach your children to compare with others

God's the perverse one. How come the west get to enjoy xmas merriment whilst indonesia gets to drown? He's a bit racist isn't he?
