Sad that my dc aren't interested in any Christmas films

Ds1 especially just wants to play XBox, watch the Simpsons or police interceptors.

Is not and has never been interested in The Snowman, any Christmas films, Christmas songs.

When I was a child it was those things that made Christmas. I had it all planned, I'm recording all the films. He's just smiled and said "I don't want to watch any Christmas films".

Are anyone else's dc like this?

For me with DS14 &ds18 I jyst want to find anything over Xmas that gets us doing something together as a family. Gave them a choice- board games, film ,dog walk, cooka meal together minimum of 1.5 hours and other Tha that they can spend their tine how they want. Couldn't agree between them so we are alternating - games yesterday, dog walk today. DS 14 really just wanted to stay in his room playing xbox but ended up having a real laugh together. I think it's finding that balance & giving them sone choices
