Do I stay or do I go?

Been invited out this evening to a friends house a five min walk away for pre Christmas drinks.
Thing is... I haven't been out this year at all!! Not once. I have two kids under 4 and inevitably the 4/5 times I have been invited out without DH and kids one of them gets ill or I get ill etc so I don't go. I was soo looking forward to this for weeks and today... my almost two year old has a cold. 😫😫
AIBU to just go anyway. I've been feeling fed up all day feeling guilty if I go but a bit sorry for myself as a SAHM because I have the kids 24/7. I know they will be fine with DH but he's done 10 days in a row 12 hour shifts and I'd literally walk out as he walks in leaving him with a slightly ill baby and hyper 4 year old.

So do I go just to probably feel guilty and leave early or just stay and home and accept that's mum life.

Thank you everyone.
Overwhelmingly positive replies, honestly thought I was gonna be flamed!! 😬
I think I am gonna go. I know I would say the same if this was someone else's post. Dunno why I can't take my own advice.
Guess after a while you just get used to being a hermit. Lol
