To think that eating for 2 hours of the day is not intermittent fasting!!

A friend of mine and her husband only eat for a 2 hour window in the day in a bid to lose weight. This seems ludicrous to me and unhealthy. Surely this isn't a diet anyone should be on and could do more harm than good!

I physically cannot eat anything before noon so breakfast doesn't exist in my life. I've lived this way for over 20 years. I practice IF in it's various forms and can't eat more than 1 real meal a day.

I ensure my kids eat breakfast though and I will encourage them to listen to their body for hunger.

OP, is it possible that because you've always eaten the way you do, you think it is normal? For me, a grown human shouldn't need to eat more than 1 meal a day to not 'faint'. That's for me that's not 'normal'.

I ate one meal Sunday, then one meal Wednesday and have had 2 tangerines and 2 cereal bars in between. On new meds and feel so sick I don’t/can’t eat. Does that mean I’m doing that type of diet???
