Blush I really need food shopping, all delivery slots are full until Tuesday. Can I use click and collect even though I don't have a car? Or will I just look like a prize twat Grin

Why would it be a problem? You won't look a twat because no-one will notice or give a shit because everyone is busy running around getting their own shopping. Just do it

People turn up at ours with trolleys.

Have you got a suitcase on wheels that you could take?

The click and collect at our large supermarket can take a long time (I've regularly waited 25 mins at my slot before when they are busy) and is just for cars. You can't safely wait there with children & a pram.

Can you not get Iceland to deliver for you (if you walk round shop and choose it into trolley, then pay, they deliver later that evening)? Or do an emergency short shop and make your bigger online home delivery booking for another day?

Make your order and then call the store and Ask to pick it up inside by Customer services or something if that is more convenient. They’ll be more than happy to do it

To those saying Iceland, the OP has already said going round the supermarket with her children would be a pain, so I'm assuming that's why she wants to do C and C?

OP would a local taxi collect for you without you having to go with them? Might be worth asking the question.

I have done this with a rucksack and bags and I even took the dog!!
No one cared or commented on it at all. There were 2 other people in cars there. And mine is also at the back of supermarket.
Do it!

I understand going round a supermarket is difficult with kids in tow but generally iceland is easier as smaller and less to look at for small ones, could nip round there throwing stuff in trolley in a fraction of the time it takes to go round tescos etc
