To find some of the posts I'm readying make me cry

I've just read one about someone's ex anally raping them while they cry and another one about a poor little kid happily waiting for his party invitation while everyone else in nursery got one and never getting one and his later face crumpling up and tears building up in his eyes. Also a comment on another post about Cyntoia Brown saying that the poor traumatised child should her not feel guilt for what she did (racism in disguise) and telling people to make up their own minds about it as if there it wasn't clear how wrong it was and is poor child. I just keep reading posts that are making me so so sad about the state of the world. Not comparing any of these things but why are people so cruel? It just makes me want to give up on the world it's so heartbreaking.

Yup another MN self harmer here. I take breaks altogether sometimes although some sad threads on here have been my own at times so I do try and be helpful here and there if I can

I enjoyed the thread about strangest arguments heard earlier- that one was good for recovery after reading something else. Try that one OP
