A Christmas carol is 1 of my favorite films of all time and as much as I love all the other versions Disney’s animated Jim Carey’s 1 is the best? Hard hat donned just in case

I have this argument with my Dad every year. He says Alistair Sim (Scrooge) is the best but he is clearly wrong. Patrick Stewart no contest! I can’t wait to watch it this year!

Alistair Sim, hands down. What a terrific performance. I’ve seen it dozens of times (English teacher) and I never tire of it.

But seriously. Muppets followed by Patrick Stewart for me. The Jim Carrey one is creepy due to the Uncanny Valley effect, like Polar Express. Shudder.

Has to be Muppet Christmas carol. It's not Christmas until we've watched it (followed closely by polar express and then Arthur Christmas!)

Omg! It annoys me so much! I always find the scene really jarring without the song in there - it doesn’t flow as well in my opinion!

Pp is right it is the best Dicken's adaptation of all. Muppets are perfect.
Although then again I love Great Expectations with John Mills.
