to feel insulted and out of the loop?

I work in an office where I am a supervisor. I got promoted around 1 year ago.

I originally managed the top floor admin staff and another supervisor managed the lower ground floor staff.

We have another building across the road which holds another department and its expanded hugely so lower floor supervisor has moved over there and now I'm managing the staff on both floors here.

I was upstairs yesterday about to hold a meeting with a staff member when I saw the other supervisor with a member of my team going into a room, supervisor looked at me like a rabbit in the headlights and it was all very confusing.

Anyway, I still consider her to be my superior so I wasn't going to nose and ask her what she wanted with this member of staff (we will call her Jane).

Recently I feel that my Manager and the other Supervisor aren't very fussed on me, can't put my finger on it but they are acting weird. I have worked here for 7 years so know when something is wrong.

As I was making tea this morning, Jane came up to me and said "Can I speak to you? I feel like you should know because they have told me not to tell anyone and it's not fair on you".

Turns out that the other supervisor has asked her to work with her down in her office and to decide by Monday but not to tell ANYONE. She doesn't want to go, she finds the girls there intimidating etc.

My beef is not with the supervisor asking her to move to her office, what I am upset about is whay would they not tell me they will be asking her? Do they not trust me?

Should I speak to my Manager to say Jane approached me? Otherwise they may frown upon it if they find out. Does my Manager even know!?

Would you be pissed off that you have been kept out of the loop?

I wouldn't mention what Jane had said to your manager. I would ask her(manager) if everything was OK with your work and whether she wanted to discuss anything with you?

I think my Manager doesn't trust me because I have confided in a close friend i work with about stuff before so i feel keeping this could escalate that. especially as the conversation was on cctv. She may have seen us talking.
