Yay ! Is it the one from your other post ?
I like PP think Dora is a great name .
Can't wait for pics Smile

CSIblonde · 11/12/2018 12:41

Daphne, purely because it gives me the image of an elderly glamorous, eccentric aristo with a very racy past... & shouting that in the park would make me laugh...

justilou1 · 11/12/2018 12:45

DAPHNE!!! (It is on my list for my next doggy!)

stayhomeclub · 11/12/2018 12:47

It’s got to be Bridget!

Totorosfluffytummy · 11/12/2018 12:48

Nora :)

everygalaxy · 11/12/2018 12:49

I like Nora or Bridget

Our beautiful black lab was called Mariah

Datun · 11/12/2018 12:50

I had always heard that due to sound frequencies, dogs respond better to a name that has an S sound in it? So Doris and Gladys work.

Although I'm sure the litter tray could confirm that or not!

*Dog experts have done a lot of research working with dogs on the types of words and phrases that canines easily recognize and will respond to. Scientific research shows that dogs can hear the ‘s’ sound much more intensely than humans, and that dogs respond best to words with two-syllables that include hard consonant sounds —such as Rosy or Lisa.

Doris!

spidey66 · 11/12/2018 13:06

I know it's not on the list but I love Elsie for a dog.

ClaireElizabethBeauchampFraser · 11/12/2018 13:16

I’m thinking Susan, but may just be Harry Potter daft and thinking of Susan Bones, or bones for short. I personally find the names chosen very odd choices for a Labrador puppy. Going with the Harry Potter theme, you could call her Luna, Ginny, Hermiony (Hermy for short), Molly, Lily, Minerva....

HisBetterHalf · 11/12/2018 13:18

hope its not a puppy for christmas.....

WhyDontYouComeOnOver · 11/12/2018 13:19

Oh I've known labs called Bridget and Susan and they were both fabulous. I think I'm edging towards Susan.

5foot5 · 11/12/2018 13:20

I used to have a lovely friend called Doris so personally I would vote for that

diddl · 11/12/2018 13:22

I love the idea of Dora!

You've got both my mum's name & her mum's name on there!

Birdshitbridgegotme · 11/12/2018 13:25

Doris!

Bluntness100 · 11/12/2018 13:27

Give your dog a nice name, not something you can poke fun at to make you laugh.

Daphne is the nicest on there.

oreoxoreo · 11/12/2018 13:29

Susan hahaha!

I like Doris.

thesnapandfartisinfallible · 11/12/2018 13:32

If it's black Nora, if golden or brown then Doris.

MadameJosephine · 11/12/2018 13:37

Doris, it’s fab!

Love the idea of Barbara too but not sure I’d be able to shout it across the park.

diddl · 11/12/2018 13:42

Just searched you Op & see it's a fox red lab & that made me think of a character in Downton called Mabel Lane Fox.

So if you're not completely set on your list, I'll suggest Mabel.

Whyislarryhappy · 11/12/2018 13:43

Meredith

Ijumpedtheshark · 11/12/2018 13:44

I have a cat named Susan. Best animal name ever!

LadyOfDeath · 11/12/2018 13:46

Susie (not Susan). Easy to yell in the park.

Luvacuppatea · 11/12/2018 13:56

Daphne gets my vote....

alltoomuchrightnow · 11/12/2018 14:03

I've met an australian labrador called Barbara!
