I love my auntie and uncle to bits and would love to be able to afford to splash out and treat them but unfortunately my budget is £20 for the both of them. I cannot for the life of me find a good present. One doesn't drink and the other doesn't like chocolate 🙈 any ideas?

Are you looking for a joint present or something for each of them around £10 each?

Birdsgottafly · 10/12/2018 20:29

Is there any other treat food that they both like, or something they would struggle to buy, like a decent leg of lamb.

Do they enjoy gardening, is there a garden centre that they use? I have shrubs and roses on my list for next year.

Would they go the cinema if you got them a Voucher?

BlueBell50 · 10/12/2018 20:29

Cinema vouchers?

Birdsgottafly · 10/12/2018 20:30

The reason I mentioned a leg of lamb is because our local chain of good Butchers do Vouchers.

KitKat1985 · 10/12/2018 20:30

At Patisserie Valerie you can get an afternoon tea for two voucher for £20?

Myusernam · 10/12/2018 20:41

Yeah I was hoping for a joint present. We are rural Scotland as well so vouchers for chain shops most likely wont be used. Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Groupon are doing a three course meal for two at cafe rouge for £21?

RJnomore1 · 10/12/2018 20:43

A DVD of a new film, bottle of wine, popcorn and chocolate all wrapped nicely?

A580Hojas · 10/12/2018 20:44

There is an entire Christmas topic for this sort of question.

Does every single enquiry really have to go in AIBU?

JennyBlueWren · 10/12/2018 21:12

Look at local places (to them) for a treat voucher. I think something they wouldn't think to get for themselves rather than something they can't afford is the way to go.
I live in rural Scotland too and bought someone a picture of a local landmark. Easy to post and fairly unique but not too expensive.

Don't know if this is allowed! But this is one of my favourite Scottish artists and she's got a who load of stuff on sale under £20!

I've got one of her cow prints and a stag print. Everyone who comes in loves them.

Avrannakern · 10/12/2018 21:53

HairyPotter · 10/12/2018 22:14
