AIBU to think the pill doesn't cause weight gain?

because I've read of lot of articles that say it doesn't.

I'm trying to find a reason as to why my DD,16, has gained weight so suddenly without seeming to be eating

The pill had no effect on my weight but the bloody depo injection made me shoot up 3.5 stones in a year without eating more/differently.

I was definitely fatter on the pill. By about half a stone, iirc. I don't think my eating habits have changed much over the years. x

I went on Diane, partly to fix my acne. Sure my skin wa improved but my appetite increased to the point where I was half tempted to have a chew on my arm Shock My breasts were also enlarged and incredibly sore.

I’ve now swapped to Levlen and even though I still have some increase in appetite it’s nowhere near as bad as with Diane. It also hasn’t given the fluid retention and sore breasts.

Of course if I hadn’t eaten any more while on the first pill I may not have gained weight I hungry to the point where I couldn’t think about anything else and couldn’t concentrate at work. This is while eating three decent meals a day.
