Seriously?! Police are issuing an appeal TEN MONTHS after she went missing?!

They're not releasing her name in case she has changed her identity ?! Even if she has, surely no harm in saying what she had previously been known as?!

She was getting in a taxi by herself?!

The only photo of her looks like it was taken in the 1930s?!

No grieving frantic parents?!

Issuing a public appeal "as a last resort"?!

This has been bugging me all day... if she was white, and blonde haired and blue eyed like a certain "missing" child we'd never hear the end of it. Poor poor girl :((( Failed by the Police.

I expect she (and whichever parent/relative has taken her) are now abroad somewhere.
