I want to know how to prevent hair turning into a birds nest!

I know this is not a real problem in the grand scheme of things, but I get up each morning, dress well for the day ahead, curl my hair making it look presentabIe, walk to work and by the time I get to there - on these damp winter mornings it looks like I have a birds nest on my head. I have tried numerous products which have not worked, to be honest fed up of wasting money, I wear a hat sometimes which makes me sweat, so that really is not the solution. Any suggestions on products that work or tips would be greatly appreciated.

For me, either my hair goes up in a bun or it's a tonne of mousse on damp hair, dried and curled, then tied back/clipped up until I'm at my destination.

However, on very drizzly days/torrential rain I give in and don't care. Nothing keeps my hair from frizzing then. Even worse in the summer...

If you can afford it a Brazilian keratin treatment is amazing.

I did mine at home with a kit from Amazon and it was fantastic but took ages. If you can afford it go get it done at a salon.

Doesn’t damage hair - it’s not like a chemical straightening treatment. It just wears off after a few months so you don’t have to grow it out.

My hair does the same. It’s much better if I keep it shorter rather than longer.

Try the Curly Girl method (google it), which involves using gel and conditioner (left in) to stop curly hair frizzing.
Also not using conditioners with silicone, which weighs down your hair, and shampoos with sodium lauryl sulphate, which you need to remove the silicone and which strips your hair of its natural oils (so it gets frizzy and then you need conditioners with silicone...and so on in a vicious circle).
