Those sliced turkey with stuffing and ham parcels

Wibu to buy these from our local food market and serve them on Xmas day? Those ones you get served at Xmas dinners and things? I’ve just thought about it and seems so much less faff, I would also do extra stuffing separately, but the thought of not buying/storing/cooking and carving a massive turkey that no-one is really fussed on anyway, really appeals!

Would you mind this?

Even the very worst sort of carvery would be embarrassed to serve those up. Sorry OP but they look disgusting 🤢🤢🤢

MammaSchwifty · 06/12/2018 15:18

How do you even cook/reheat those? Microwave??

RavenLG · 06/12/2018 15:51

YANU for calling it a parcel too, its fully open! The sliced ham is whats putting me off, proper gammon, fair enough (although still weird on a roast imo) but it looks like the basic slices from the supermarket!

Oh man I was picturing like a turkey Wellington which sounded delicious. Somebody needs to make one of those.

We always have roast beef, with Yorkshire’s, and pigs in blankets and cranberry sauce! Fuck the turkey! Have beef!

@MissMalteser I get what you're after now! You could make those really easily, I think there's an old Delia recipe for a last minute Xmas dinner where she'd bashed out a turkey breast, put stuffing in it, rolled it up and covered with bacon.

Made them before and they were lovely.
