Went on twitter and saw this

and it's just a long line of tweets from them that seem to go viral from time to time. Surely this just undermines real discriminatory language?

That is so incredibly sad. I was never a fan of PETA in the first place and this just makes me dislike them even more.

The bond between humans and animals has been evident for MILLENNIA. At least one of our three cats probably would not survive if it weren't for us. (Seriously. He is lovely, but he is THAT thick. Won't even eat tuna.) Another cat promptly decided that I'm his mum when we adopted him - he was rejected by his mother and hand reared so he never had a proper mum. I never forced him to want me as his mum. He simply made that decision.
