I'm new round here so excuse me if it has been done, but other forums I post on will often have a 'post a picture of yourself' thread. I'm not even sure how you post a picture yet but I thought it would be fun. I have loads on Instagram though!

No. This is MN, we don't do things like that, it's just not that kind of place.

So when the Fail pick up on a thread they can publish it along with a photo? I''d rather disembowel myself personally.

I was on a forum a long time ago that had very few men. One of the most prolific ones had a 'good idea' once. The women were to post pictures of themselves for him to judge who was the best looking. A fair few people actually posted photos!

People used to have profiles if they wanted to, often with pictures. Does that still exist?

People have posted up photos of their outfits on the style and beauty boards. I quite liked that as I'm a frump and it was good to get inspiration, maybe start one there? (Usually the photos were 'sans head, though).

To be honest I get enough comments in real life. I quite like being faceless here.

Some sad people judge their worth by how many likes their Instagram pictures get.
It's very shallow and self destructive imo.
To try and carry that over to MN where anonymity is treasured is a silly thing to do.

Plus, OP you could easily be a pervy little sad man looking for wank fodder after pulling himself sore on PH.
