To go for this interview?

I got an interview tomorrow in London. It's a part time job 2-3 days. It's in the industry I have my degree in but this would be my first job in it. I am interested in the job, it's a stepping stone but wouldn't want to stay in it more than 6 months unless promotion was possible.
The problem is I don't live in London. I'd be commuting from elsewhere and door to door the commute will take 2 hours each way. I'm prepared to do this as in the area I live there aren't many job opportunities like this . Compromises for the long term goal I suppose . Now in my CV I didn't mention where I live, obviously I suppose it will come up in the conversation. I struggle to see if the employers would understand my situation as obviously they d want someone who is as realible as possible (which I am btw very much so but I see where they'd be coming from) now my question is should I cancel the interview or go for it?

I would be more concerned about going for a job you only want to commit to for six months. It doesn't seem very fair on the company, you will spend most of that time getting up to speed.

I think two hour commute into London is above average but not unheard of.

Stop overthinking it and go. They may not offer you the job. They may offer you the job and you may do it for 6 months and love it/hate it and move on. You may get the job, love it, end up moving closer, getting promoted and staying at the company until you retire. The future is a long time. For now, go to the interview Smile
