What's the verdict?

You mean people eat less than the entire box usually? Whoops. Blush

ladymariner · 01/12/2018 22:46

No, learn self-control! I had my one Hotel Chocolat choc today, they'll last me til the New Year.

Thank you, Gillian McKeith!

Op, back in the real world, of course you eat the whole box 5th one, enjoy!

MakeItRain · 01/12/2018 22:57

Lindors contain palm oil??? Nooooooo!! SadSadSad

Chinks123 · 01/12/2018 23:01

I didn’t realise that either :( they’re my favourites

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 01/12/2018 23:01

Is it sustainable palm oil?

Getting rid of palm oil completely is bad news for Orangutans and the rest of the jungle too...

Magicmonster · 01/12/2018 23:03

Anchor - I was about to say the same thing. Palm oil per se isn’t bad as far as I know? At least not as bad as the commonly used alternatives?

SherlockHolmes · 01/12/2018 23:08

Relax everyone it's ok

Ended up eating 6 Blush

Ah well, tomorrow's another day.

CoughLaughFart · 01/12/2018 23:12

Have you tried the mint ones yet? I could easily inhale a full box 🐷

I might drink a big glass of palm oil to wash them down, just to piss off the virtue signallers.

Cuzcothellama · 01/12/2018 23:13

There's still more of today go to OP.

Eat more Lindor.

HTH. Grin

HollowTalk · 01/12/2018 23:13

I find them really odd - they always taste cold. Does anyone else find this?

Clevs · 01/12/2018 23:19

YABVVVVVU to question whether you should have a fifth Lindor. A fifth??!!

Five is the bloody minimum!

CheshireChat · 01/12/2018 23:27

They're lovely, but a bit sickly, definitely couldn't manage so many in one go- I'd have to spread them out.

However, YABU as now I want chocolate, the stollen is calling my name and I've already had rice pudding. And I've made chocolate cake as well...

Hillarious · 01/12/2018 23:31

Have a seventh . . . but only if you keep them in the fridge!

newplacenofriends · 02/12/2018 00:13

lindor is lindt chocolates aren't they? lindt uses sustainable palm oil.

Linked below is an article about sustainable palm oil:

newplacenofriends · 02/12/2018 00:14

are not is!!!

onthenaughtystepagain · 02/12/2018 17:21

Who's Gillian M Keith to whom I've been likened????

SherlockHolmes · 02/12/2018 18:03

Gillian McKeith used to have a TV show called You Are What You Eat. She would shame people into eating virtually nothing but vegetables. She would also examine their poo to see how good it was Hmm.

I think she was found not to be an actual medical doctor in the end (although I could be wrong there).

OP posts:
BitchyChuckle · 02/12/2018 18:08

She also was BRILLIANT on I’m a celeb. We used to call my ds tantrums ‘doing a gillian’ for ages

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 02/12/2018 19:40

I've noticed the cold thing too, it's very odd. I don't know why you'd need to keep them in the fridge!

I ate so many last month that I don't like them any more Blush

ShotsFired · 02/12/2018 19:44

Only on MN would somebody ask if it was ok to eat a few chocs, then post an embarrassed face for doing it.

Moominfan · 02/12/2018 20:03

5th? I wouldn't give it any thought, I am fat though

DroningOn · 02/12/2018 20:09

Doesn't count in December

redcarbluecar · 02/12/2018 20:10

AIBU to have just had some cheesecake with melted chocolate spoons on top? And to be a bit pissed on a school night?

thesnapandfartisinfallible · 02/12/2018 20:15

YABVU 6 is a much better number.

yoyo1234 · 02/12/2018 20:16

5 chocolates is nothing. An entire Christmas cake within 24hrs ( minus a small sliver for DH if feeling generous ) and entire boxes of chocolate are standard Christmas portions Grin.
