To ask if you also find it really hard to lose weight in menopause, even if you're super careful?

I really don't think I eat a lot. I'm super healthy, conscious, mostly veggie, low carbs, exercise 3/4 a week and yet, I can't shift the last 10 pounds I want to shift. I'm on HRT, post meno, and it's driving me nuts! It's so deflating.

I don't understand it.

Interestingly, my TDEE is c.1800 calories a day.

I NEVER eat that much.

I need to stop snacks for 2 weeks. See what happens. And then maybe try a fasting of sorts.

I don't have a big tummy, or spread. I'm just heavier with a fat ass

A lot of ppl say that TDEE estimates way too high for them. They have to eat much less or they gain weight.

I find the TDEE estimates too LOW for me. I eat way much more than it predicts I should (without weight gain).

I guess bottom line is, TDEE is just an estimate. Have you tried to honestly calorie count what you're consuming?

No, I am going to use Fitness Pal or whatever it is. It's so boring, though, doing food counting! And I make a lot from scratch, which I always find is harder to log. Maybe I'm just making excuses

But today, because I've been so pissed off with it all, I've stuffed my face. And now feel even worse...
