Gift for midwives/nurses?

Posting in AIBU for traffic.
Well, I supposed it is maybe an AIBU as well really.
I gave birth at our local hospital back in July and we had to stay in for a week in the transitional care unit for baby. The midwives during the birth, and afterwards, and all of the nurses were wonderful. Like literally I could cry thinking about how amazingly they took care of us. I did take in a card and chocolates about a month afterwards to the MLU and the TCU.

Am I mental for wanting to take something in, again, as a Christmas gift for the people who work there?

And if that's not mental, what would be a good gift/gifts? Chocolate is a bit boring?
Any midwives or nurses out there who can suggest something nice I could take?

Cake, they always love cake - the gooier and creamier the better!

Please do it.
I have a fantastic midwife during my 2nd child birth, it was natural but my body retained the placenta, so it got very messy after DS was born. I phone the hospital for her surname and as she was polish I didn't remember it.
The lady told me awh she probably doesn't work here anymore.
I was visiting my Dsis a year later in the maternity hospital and I seen her. I thanked her again but I still regret not sending her something, especially when you read threads on how unappreciated they can be.
