To not want to use exes Christmas decs?

I'm probably being unreasonable. My mother says I am but understands why I'm feeling a bit weird about it.
Around 2 years ago my ex and I were briefly separated. I moved back to my parents and he kept the flat we had rented. He spent 6 months in a casual relationship last year with another woman which happened to be over the Christmas period.
We rekindled our romance at the beginning of this year and are very much back together and happy.

The AIBU is, his 'ex' went out and bought all new Xmas decorations for our tree. (That we had bought together the year before, I think it was a case of she didn't want any part of me at his house). Now however the tables have turned and I feel slightly uncomfortable decorating OUR Xmas tree this year with decorations that she bought.
It's not that I'm trying to be petty because I know that it's just decorations but every time I look at that tree I'll think of her.
I'm not bitter about him being with her; we were not in a great place relationship wise and it took us both being with other people to realise that we still loved each other, it's more that I just want my own touch and not hers this year.
He's happy to buy more with me if I really need to but said it would just be easier to use the ones he's already got in the loft.
Would anyone else feel the same or should I suck it up and just decorate the tree with the stuff he's already got available?
