That the little kid dressed as plug makes me cry

I may be tired and over emotional but there’s just something about the way he runs and plugs himself in that makes me both laugh and cry at the same time. Anyone with me?

Omg I just looked this ad up because I hadn't seen it, the plug bit is beautiful (wipes tear from eye)

I too am feeling the plug love! I like the misplaced bauble trying to get behind the curtain at the end and the star's swivelly-eyed terror at the very start as well ( I am a total sucker for kids in costumes letting rip - the memory of the Raving Shepherds number at one of the DSs' nativities still makes me giggle a decade later! )

Yeah that made me laugh out loud. Especially loved the Queen though. Brilliant.

I bypass the rest of the advert for the plug kid is the advert ,,,its a stroke of genius and makes me smile no end..we all love the plug in our house!

Harry Hill needs to do a "which is cuter?" fight between the plug and the bauble.

It's the cutiethat's so excited at 1.46 that gets me.

Omg I've been laughing about that Plug since the ad came out. I LOVE him! I want to know just he managed to judge plugging himself into the wall so exactly!!

I love the fact there's a string of running fairylights behind him. The girl who plays the bauble is great too. I love the kids dressed as Christmas cards and the girl as the queen in the TV.

Makes me smile every time. So I guess it's a successful Xmas ad for me.

I love the Nativity films too.

I am now planning a cosy evening watching Nativity next weekend.

What is the Waitrose one about where they watch the John Lewis advert then eat a stollen

And I love the Nativity sequels! I mean they're terrible but so watchable best bit of the first Nativity! Is when Mr Poppy is teaching the class the inappropriate dance moves

We've only seen it once, but both of us commented how brilliant it was, best Christmas Ad so far.

Oh the other ad I like is where the lady plays the piano really quickly - can’t think what it’s for though

I have a little tradition that my mother always buys me the John Lewis Christmas ad thing (so I have a moz cuddly toy, the penguins, a book of the bear and the hare etc)... said to her this year.. well I don’t want Elton’s greatest hits so you’re just going to have to get me a piano

I saw someone online referring to the JL Christmas advert as the Rocketman ad (cos of Elton John obviously) and then referring to the Sainsbury’s ad as the ‘Socketman’ advert! Love it

why is aldi pushing that kevin the carrot thing? i don't get it so they should obviously just give up and move on.
