Jasmine booted out of "The Apprentice" last week and Jackie this week. Both competent and able women. Jackie was booted out for being too good, in the sense that she had already run a successful business and didn't "Need" him.

I think that Alan Sugar likes to feel superior and feels threatened by alpha females.

He strikes me as the type of person that you couldn't win with.
He'd knock you down a few pegs if you were starting to get a little over confident and kick off if you were under confident.

I’m guessing here, but by “corporate” maybe he means someone who is used to working in a large organisation with structured rules and a hierarchy? He might be more drawn to “self-starters” and entrepreneurs who’ve made it on their own without climbing a career ladder.
