Staff parking in residents car park

I live in a block of flats. There is a housing scheme that has its office at the site, and they take up most of the space during the day parking for their meetings etc. Do you think I can make a complaint to the organisation stating that the amount of room they take up is preventing residents from parking? There is only enough room for 1 or 2 cars by the time they have all parked for the meeting. it's ridiculous. Why should they be taking up the room over the residents?

What do the deeds say or terms of your rental if you rent? It might say there is residents only parking (any signage to say residents only?) But they might have it written that staff can use it during quiet periods in which case you'd need to contact them to define that and put your complaint in writing.

Not really sure. It does say something about parking but not 100% what it says. I just don't see how they can justify staff over residents. If it was only a couple of cars it wouldn't be so bad, but on a busy day it can be about 10 and sometimes I can't even put my rubbish out because they blocking access to the bins.

If it's not allocated parking, I don't think you will get anywhere. Who would you complain to? The housing office?

They are a separate organisation to the landlord of the flats, so I'd complain to the owner of the property. I mean, it's an obstruction. It's not just a case of an extra car here or there.

I would complain to the landlord of the flats, and include the bit about access to bins. In fact it is probably a health and safety hazard.
Hopefully they will investigate (more likely if you can get neighbours to complain too). If necessary you could ask the Fire service/council to check if it is a safety issue - it might take them a long time but they might check.
