I have to apply for universal credit rather than universal credit, I’m current claiming working tax credit and child tax credit, the question basically is if I apply for universal credit will my tax credits stop straight away? I need to apply ASAP but I’m scared to have no money for Christmas as all’s I will have is my wages which will just about cover bills! can anyone help I’ve searched the internet and no answer
