Have 2 small kids. At a small family party and some decide to go do weed in the garden as we were leaving. DH decides to go out and try it. AIBU to think that it’s a bit off to go and try weed in someone’s back garden with a bunch of young adults when we’ve got two babies to get home and look after?

Not whilst in charge of children no. Fine if not and there's another responsible adult with them.
