Took an antihistimine at 11 o clock. I am still sneezing, runny nose, streaming eyes, itchy roof of mouth and all of it but i am now incredibly drowsy

i know I said this in your other thread about this the other day, but have you tried Beconase?

hebetalbot · 21/06/2007 15:48

I take a nasal spray and eye drops in additon to a tablet when my hayfever is really bad. It seems to keep the symptoms under control.

I found Benadryl very good but expensive. I have just started taking Fexofenadine on prescription and find I don't need a nasal spray or eye drops in addition and it doesn't make you feel drowsy. The prescription costs £6.55 but I get a months's supply so I think its cheaper than buying it over the counter. Plus I have a repeat prescription so don't have to go to the doctor every time I run out.

i think in answer to my own OP i prob AM being unreasonable because they only cost 97p for 7 lol! I would be better off at the drs wouldn't i really

I think dr would be best as lets face it becanase and eye drops do not stop the roof of your mouth itching. I thought that was only me! I find it the most debilitating symptom - plus I tend to eat/drink to make it feel better which is no good for the waistline!

DP and i call that an itchy brain...its a bit higher than the roof of your mouth and you can never reach it lol
