Go there once a week. Various staff but whenever this particular lady serves an Americano from the machine she positions an extra cup under it so you are getting a half strength coffee. No one else does it and you can really tell the difference. My hubby who gets the drinks is too polite to say anything!! This isn't right is it?!

You can give her feedback without being rude. Just go up yourself if your husband won't, and ask her politely for a full strength coffee. Maybe she gets more people asking for it weaker rather than stronger, so perhaps she thinks she's helping - she won't know if you don't tell her, and you don't need to report her or anything.

Costa you get ‘half’ in a small ‘drink in’, but the ‘whole’ in the small ‘take out’. I rarely ‘drink in’ but have to remember to ask for the ‘whole’ if I do. If you ask when they’re making it, they just do it and don’t charge for the ‘extra shot’, but they do if you ask at the till. Puts me off ordering to ‘drink in’ - such a faff.

Each side gives out one shot, ( normally its shot per drink unless you state you want an extra one) so no she isnt.

( no i don't work there, its standard for coffee machines and most places only do one shot as its too strong for a lot of people)

I think it might be better to ask the others if it's normal practice to use both shots. Then won't be quizzing the actual person. I know nothing about coffee, can't stand the stuff. Just my oh moans every time but will not go back and say anything!!

Why not just say you want it strong

You're paying for it, you can literally have it how you like it.
