flu jab reactions?

Anyone else had really bad reactions to this year's flu jab? We all (me and 2 adult DDs) have to have it as DH will start chemo soon, and I was completely poleaxed for a day and a half, DD1 had hers this morning and is about to go to bed with some paracetamol feeling like shit. I've never had this before?

Immunosuppressed here and neutropenic. Flu jab wasn't too bad, more sore/red/hot arm than usual but no other issues

My daughter has had the nasal spray the past 3 years. She's been fine the past 2 years but this year she was quite poorly for a week after. Cold type symptoms, bad cough, inflamed tonsils. I think her immune system was low and the spray brought it out.

I've never had more than the occasional sore arm after the flu jab and I get one every year and have for most of my adult life. Dc get them every year as well. You can't get sick from the jab, but it can make you feel run down and a bit under the weather, which is the immune reaction you want to have (it means your immune system is responding and producing sufficient antibodies). But you could all also just be coming down with colds. There are some awful ones going around right now and everyone I know pretty much has a terrible cold and chest infection.

I had my very first one yesterday. It was very sore in the night but is ok now.

I dont think I have felt much difference though did sleep in till 10.30 today

I'm not saying I have flu! just surprised as I never usually react to anything. Arm still sore tho functioning normally (well as far as normal goes) now. Interesting how differently we all react.
