To ask for creative ideas how to rehome a chaise longue

Just that really.

I bought a chaise longue for DH's study.

It's beautiful but not comfy. Would be great in a bedroom for looking at IYSWIM but fundamentally poor as a chair.

I can't find a way to get shot of it. I've tried Ebay, local poncy supermarket selling board, local fb selling sites. Nothing.

Local furniture dealer keen to to take it as part ex against ridiculously expensively hideous chair which is I don't want, but won't buy the chaise alone.

How else can I get rid of it? Seems sad to send it to the tip but I'm out of of ideas.

Whereabouts are you OP?

They don't seem to be going for much on Ebay, might be better in Spring if you can wait a while.

Oh, opposite end of country to me then.

There's Tennants Auctions & I think they have an office near you, or Morphets

You’ve got to sex it up in the photos. Shabby sheek, retro, vintage etc

They’re the people that will buy it. Also get one of those transport quotes on it.

Can't you just sit it in your bedroom as something nice to look at and chuck your clothes on ?
