So, a person with the appearance of 30/40-something man, joined a beauty forum for girls and young women and chatted to them about their periods.

This person asked, persistently, for advice on what to do, should a 10-12 year old girl speak to him about her period eg should he give her advice on inserting it.

This person didn't even bother to hide their appearance, they used their male-looking profile but they said they were trans. It took a while for the girls to challenge him, as they were scared to challenge a transwoman for fear of being seen as bigoted. So they patiently explained periods with this person, who invited them to private message him.

When I was a girl, I would have known to tell an adult about a grown man trying to hang out with us and get us to talk about intimate stuff.

AIBU that the push to be accepting of trans ideology is making life more dangerous for girls as it's blurring the lines over who they should accept in their spaces?

I don't think those questions are appropriate coming from a 30yr old female that is no relation either to be fair. Absolutely no difference whether they are male, female, trans etc..

starzig I agree. But 30 year old women usually don't ask those kinds of questions. We don't have to warn kids about them, not so much.

There are 13,000 male sex criminals in UK prisons.
There are only 128 female sex criminals in UK prisons (and some of them might be transwomen, it's not clear).

It's easy to warn kids of strange men hanging about. It's much harder to have to explain every kind of possible dodgy behaviour and pretend women are as much of a threat as men / male born people. They're just not.

How do you explain this kind of risk to a child / young teen?

The trouble with self ID is that predatory men/fetishits etc don't wear sticky notes on their heads that identify them as such.

Women are just meant to take it in good faith that the person in their changing room who says he is transgender has no ulterior motives.

Once again, women are the collateral damage so that the needs of men can be satisfied.

In regards to men having fetishes of menstruation, the picture I've attached highlights exactly how fucked up the whole thing is. Why are women expected to share their personal spaces with people like that?!

I have said my theory of what is behind the sudden pushing of this and have been laughed at for it but it’s accepted in other arguments quite readily and by mainstream media when it comes to politics..

Wearing clothes that are designed for the opposite sex or just ‘feeling’ like the opposite sex means trans these days.

The real problem is that the trans umbrella has been broadened so far that the fetishists are officially included. Which, imho, is deeply fucking insulting to the poor sods with gender dysphoria.

Should just make clear I was laughed at on other platforms, not on here but I might as well come out and say it and say Russian online interference plays a big part in this. People happily accept that they had a part in worldwide politics but I’ve been laughed for thinking their part in this is ridiculous but I think they have been involved in this recent push of ‘trans’
