To not want to go 'back' to work?

I've worked from home for the past 9 years in a role which required very little time at the actual office. I was told last week that the company I work with are closing.

I'm worried sick about applying for new jobs, I have an autoimmune condition and some days I can barely function in addition to chronic joint pain, hyper mobility, bowel and bladder issues which I have had surgery for and a child with some Sen who isn't severe but at the same time isn't capable of being left for long hours alone in the evening.
I've always done computer based work and now my eye function is going and I'm having whole days of intermittent blurring so even that is difficult.

I don't even know where to start.
I know people work with a lot worse that me but I don't even know where would take me!

contacting your local job centre and discussing your medical limitations might help, hopefully they should be able to advise you regarding part time work you might be able to do at home.
could dc other parent help you out with caring for them if you are working in the evening -even if it was once a week, parents or a friend perhaps ?
hang on to the fact there may well be people worse off than you but that knowledge doesn't help you nor is it constructive either.

Thanks Paint.
Our local job centre closed but I can find another one. The last time I had any dealings with them (16 years ago) they were rubbish and said they didn't have the staff to sit down and give advise to help find a job Confused

Anyway hopefully the new lot are better!
