To ask for the best places to sell baby stuff?

Ideally locally.
I don't do ebay if I can help it just because of the fees.
Marketplace people want something for nothing
I have boxes and boxes of baby girl stuff. Mainly next, marks and Spencer, Ted Baker. So would ideally like to sell it.
I have given a few boxes to charity and my friend who fosters and works with mums in mother baby units who took loads of the basics.
But wanted to sell the better stuff. And could do with a bit of cash

The specific markets held for baby stuff have always been great for me, things like mum2market etc. Think because people are there just to buy baby/children stuff- worth having a look to see what's in your area

Gumtree and Facebook for me.

I tried one of those Jack and Jill markets and it was shit. I spent weeks washing and labelling clothes. I ended up, after paying for the table, making something like £20.

After that, For most stuff I just passed it on to friends or charity shopped it.

Nobody wants to spend money on second hand clothes. I had people querying tiny marks on sleeves of tops I was trying to sell for 50p. And these were marks they had to spend ages hunting for. People expect pristine clothes for pennies.

If you are desperate for the money then try gumtree, take lots of photos and sell for a low price per bag or box and expect haggling.

If you aren't then pass them to charity or a friend.

You could try loopster (online second hand childrens clothes site) - they send you a bag, you fill it up and send it back to them, they pay you and sell it on. But be warned, they are very fussy about even the slightest sign of wear, and they use that as an excuse to pay less - I got considerably less than I was expecting, and I wasn’t expecting much!

Most of it has literally been worn once. And no marks whatsoever. As I'm one of those fussy ones who would spot a tiny mark) we were given so much that some didn't even get worn.. And the in-laws buy an outfit every time we see them it's silly. Even though I've said pay into her bank account instead for when she's 18.but they won't.
My try a specified baby bay thing then x

I’ve found mum2mum sales really good - but not for anything Joules/mini Boden/Frugi/ Ted Baker etc. They are better sold on the Facebook selling sites (there are preloved specific sites) you get more for individual items on there I’ve found. People come to the sales with a pocket full of change and want lots of stuff for £1/2. So I tend to sell good and excellent condition high street/supermarket clothes for £1/2 each. Toys sell really well too - and older kids stuff 12 months plus I’ve found sells well - as long as it’s not stained/ripped/totally worn out. Larger items you can send a pic of to the organiser beforehand and they will often put them on the mum2mum Facebook page to show that it will be on sale this weekend at the local sale for example.
