Who cares...

cadburyegg · 11/11/2018 20:05

It’s something that she will grow into, in a couple of years she will probably love it. Maybe she has all the age appropriate plastic tat?

namechange1324 · 11/11/2018 20:06

@cadburyegg you know what I never though about it like that! I guess with a house as big as there's it can sit in a corner for a few years !

It looks cool. My daughter would love it and would’ve got serious use from about 18 months

CandyCreeper · 11/11/2018 20:08

cant see an issue?!

Solenti · 11/11/2018 20:09

I think it's ok personally. Rather this that has longevity than plastic, noisy crap that you want rid of in a year or they grow out of quickly. This can be used for a whole childhood and passed on. She's one, she won't be upset about it Grin.

PiperPublickOccurrences · 11/11/2018 20:09

Are we supposed to know who Sam Faires is?

I couldn't give two hoots what randomers on the internet are buying their children for their birthdays.

SuperstarDJ · 11/11/2018 20:10

I think her cousin has the same one but in a different colour. Which probably means that Sam got it for free from whatever company that makes/supplies them.

SoyDora · 11/11/2018 20:10

Seems like a good 1st birthday present to me, something that can grow with her. It won’t be long before she’s getting use out of it, mine loved their dolls house from about 15 months.

Camomila · 11/11/2018 20:12

I think its fairly usual to give 'heirloom'/'will grow into' type toys for 1st birthdays.
If you are going to buy a big proper toy then plastic stuff doesn't feel as 'special' for a 1st birthday/1st Christmas.

puzzledlady · 11/11/2018 20:14

who cares? If she can afford and her daughter might like it - whats the issue? You want to see Tamara Ecclestone's daughters advent calendar last year.....it was amazing.

Sparklesocks · 11/11/2018 20:15

She will be old enough for it soon enough and I imagine will play with it for years, i think it’s quite a nice idea.

namechange1324 · 11/11/2018 20:16

@puzzledlady WTAF I take it all back 😂 Sam's like a blip compared to her!!!!

We've just bought our 6 month old a wooden dolls house for Xmas. We saved 40% buying it now and it means I have a couple of years to add furniture etc.
Probably seems a bit daft at first glance

JillyArmeeen · 11/11/2018 20:21

Not something I can get worked up about.
Its a beautiful house for a lovely baby who let's face it probably has all the plastic tat she needs.
My son had a little house with figures he really enjoyed from not much older than one. He liked moving the dolls around.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 11/11/2018 20:30

Thought she only had Paul.
Misses point of the thread

DonaldDucksTowel · 11/11/2018 20:31

Wow she looks the image of Baby Paul doesn’t she Shock

Awittyusernameishardtofind · 11/11/2018 20:31

Her baby. Her choice

Violetroselily · 11/11/2018 20:34

Her party is possibly more over the top than Nelly's recent birthday

BeautifulBlue · 11/11/2018 20:38

I got my daughter a dolls house for her 1st birthday. (Not as big as that though) Grin I brought it second hand & painted it. BUT YANBU because it’s been on the wardrobe for 6 months because she had no interest. This has reminded me to get it down & have another go though!
